About Wally #
He's incredibly friendly and pretty needy, so don't be surprised if he just follows you from room to room.
Also answers to: Waldo, Woliver (like Oliver, with a W).
He also loves trying to attack the pointer/cursor on the TV. Expect some intense stalking if anything's on screen.
Feeding Schedule #

These timings are just what we normally do. If you'd rather feed him when you get back, let us know and we'll adjust the feeder.
Litter Tray #
- He barely uses it, but when his pee or poo lands, it stinks.
- You probably won't need to change it. It's permanently stained with the ammonia smell of his pee, so don't take the whiff as a sign he's been.
- Unless it looks wet or is crunched up in one corner, he probably hasn't used it.
- If he does poop in the tray, bags and a shovel are in the cupboard to the right of the table. Bagged poo goes in the black bin out the front.
Wally House Rules #

Office door stays shut. Free roam everywhere else, but in there he goes for Charlie's computer parts and wires.

No counters. He'll try to eat your dinner from the counter, the table, your lap. Watch your plate, and anything left out after cooking: he's stolen whole loaves of bread before now. We hide stuff in the cupboards or the oven.

Windows and the front door. He'll try to get out of the lower front windows, so top ones only. Same with the front door whenever it's open.

Nights. He's out most of the night through his own cat flap. He'll get in bed with you first, then usually decide to play. Easiest to just put him out the door when that happens.
Behaviour & Handling #
He does have the occasional wild moment. He's more likely to get nippy if:
- He's just pooped (he mostly goes outside now)
- It's dark
- You're in bed during "his" bed time (he sleeps in our room, on Charlie's side of the bed)
If he bites
DO NOT yank your hand back. Keep it still and ride it out for about 5 seconds. It won't hurt. His claws are sharp though, and pulling away is what causes cuts.
Better option: swap your hand for a toy before it gets to that point (see the toy tier list).

Emergency & Useful Info #
You already have our number. Call or text if anything comes up.
- He's on an automatic feeder that notifies us when he eats, and he's never late for a meal (very food-motivated). If he doesn't show up, let us know and we'll figure it out together. We don't actively watch the notifications, and it's turned to face the wall so you don't feel like you're under surveillance.
- He's microchipped, and there are no health issues or medications to worry about.
